Please follow the steps below to become an Authorize.Net Certified Developer.
Step 1: Obtain a Free Test Account
Please fill out our Test Account Application. Once you have submitted the application, and the information you provided has been verified, the Integration Services team will contact you to provide you with more information about testing your integration. We will provide you with a secure server address for posting test transactions, two unique test Login IDs, a Partner ID, and the appropriate Testing Criteria Guide(s).
Step 2: Provide a Merchant Reference
Developer partners must provide a reference for a completed Authorize.Net customer integration. The Integraton Services team will review your customer’s transaction logs to verify that your integration has met all the requirements of the Certified Developer Program. If any part of your integration with the Authorize.Net API does not meet our partner standards, an Integration Services team member will identify errors and provide you with assistance.
Step 3: Complete the Partner Application Form
After you have successfully integrated a merchant Web site or product to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway, you may submit the Certified Developer Application. You must fill out the form completely and accurately.
Step 4: Submit Your Privacy and Security Policy
You will also be asked to provide documentation regarding your merchant sensitive information protection policy. Developers without security policies that protect sensitive merchant information will be denied partner status until such security policies are in place.
Step 5: Acceptance of Partner Agreement
To complete the application process, you must read and sign the Partner Agreement to accept our terms and conditions. Once we receive your acceptance, we will formally recognize you as a certified developer. We will provide you with an Authorize.Net Certified Developer logo and full details concerning your partner status. We will also list your business in our online directory. We promote only certified developer partners in our online directories.
Step 6: Maintaining Contact Information
Developer partners must maintain accurate contact information with Authorize.Net at all times. In order for Authorize.Net to effectively relay important updates, announcements, integration issues, and general communications to our developer partners, you are required to keep Authorize.Net informed of any changes in your contact information.
Authorize.Net will employ all means available to maintain communication with a given developer. However, if repeated communication is made to the designated contact without reply, or notification contact information is no longer valid, the developer will be removed from our online directory until contact is re-established by the developer.
Step 7: Maintaining Compliance with the Authorize.Net Partner Agreement
In the event that you breach any of the terms or conditions of the Partner Agreement, Authorize.Net may, in addition to any contractual remedies available to it, terminate your “certified” status and remove your name from the online partner directory until you have remedied your breach.
